A record label or record company is a brand or trademark associated with the marketing of music recordings and music videos (Wikipedia). A record label in Nigeria can only be a juristic person if registered under the company and allied matters Act chapter 59 Laws of federation of Nigeria 1990. Section 18 of the Act provides that as from the commencement of the Act, any two or more persons shall only form and incorporate a company by complying with the requirements of Act in respect of registration of such company. COVID19 PANDEMIC AND THE DEROGATION OF INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS Olalekan Olayode and Adekunle Abiona Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, various governments have enforced lockdown and stay at home orders in an attempt to curb the spread of the deadly virus which has killed thousands of people worldwide. Citizens have been ordered to stay at home with majority of such orders allowing for the movement of essential goods and services only. This has of course led to to various arguments as to the legality of such lockdown orders as it curtails the freedom of movement as well as the right to work.
